About The Artist: Our Canvas Critter artist, Nancy Collins, began her journey into the world of art at the young age of 6 years old. Inspired by her uncle's sketches, she would develop her own technique for photo-realism painting. As a young woman, working in the New York garment districts, she studied art under such world renowned artists as Joyce Pike, John-Seerey Lester and Carl Brenders. Some 25 years ago in her southern Ozark hometown she opened the doors of her art studio to share her skills with other aspiring artists.
