I believe it is a model 2, but it could be a 3. It comes with a New Installed battery and has a battery charger. It has a built in set of wheels and handle, so it is easy to transport. This is a great machine that has Variable Speed Controls, Topspin/Backspin controls, Feed Control, Elevation settings, and a Manually adjusted Sweep setting. I paid about $1500+ for this machine new and used it for practice during the summer. I have taken good care of the machine and it works great, but has a few minor glitches. I am asking $700 for the machine, but I am open to offers.  Overall, It is a one of the best Tennis ball machines out there for practicing your game and will work great for many years to come!! The glitches are: A missing screw on the control panel I have installed an additional switch below the control panel, it switches off one of the motors. Inside the machine seems to be a Remote Control device, but I have no longer have a remote to test it. When I press the reset button, nothing happens. With these minor glitches, the machine works great. Simply Turn it on, adjust the switches at a moderate rate, and it will work great. Also, I recommend oiling the machine a little after it arrives.
