Very Rare! c1890's Antique "Fishtail" Tennis Racquet & Wood Racquet Press  Slazenger "Special Demon" Made in England Fishtail Handle, Solid Wood Wedge, Original Natural Gut Stringbed! This listing features a very rare circa 1890's, Slazenger "Special Demon" Antique Tennis Racquet.  This beautiful, english made, antique racquet features a rare "fishtail" handle, a solid wood wedge, and the original natural gut stringbed (99% intact) with red trebling top and bottom(see photos).  On one side of the wedge, stamped into the wood, is the famous Slazenger "The Demon Trade Mark."  Below the The Demon is the famous Slazenger brand name in gold script.  At the top of the racquet head, stamped into the wood are the words "Special Demon."  On the edge of the throat is stamped "13 1/2" and the number "3."  A "W" has been marked on the end of the handle by a prior owner (see photos).
